Most people when thinking about the word diet connect it to losing weight.  Very few people connect it to gaining weight or even muscle.

There are many popular diets and diet plans, and many diet books have been written over the
years. Some of the most popular diets today are Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, and Ketogenic.  None of these take into account the different diets associated with cultural or religious lifestyles.

“Diets” can be poor, unhealthy, nutritious, or designed to treat certain health conditions.

In other words, a ‘Diet’ is anything you eat.
